I’m not “Mr. Graphic Designer”, I work with pictures from digital photo cameras, I play around with images for websites and that’s about it. But I do like to have a program that has a bit more than just the very basic functions. And that’s what I’ve found in Paint.NET! A free program for Windows made by people from the Washington State University. Designed in the beginning to become a powerful replacement to the Windows standard “Paint”. Everyone out there that’s doesn’t really need all the bells of Photoshop CS or Paint Shop Pro, go ahead and try Paint.NET. I’m sure a lot of you will find it very useful. And you can stop feeling guilty about that illegally obtained Photoshop copy
From now on, Paint.NET is featured in my Software links.

This morning, starting at 3 am, Telenet finally launched the update for their Digicorder digital television recorder (with 160 gb hd). When I switched my Digicorder, the update started automatically. There are some new menu items in the program guide, and the manual recording function is to be found in the Extra menu. The option to record directly from the program guide, and schedule the automatic recording of series, is called Flexview. You have to activate it by calling the helpdesk, and you can use it for free the first six months. So I’m gonna schedule some recordings, and see how it goes
By the way, there’s also an update for the Digibox.
