It’s been 8 and a half years since I first started this website. From static html pages, over Blogger, to WordPress (since June 2005). The domain name zzillezz.net was registered on December 23rd 2001. I’ve been posting about software that I find interesting. By no means it’s complete, by no means it’s consistent. But I keep trying. Songbird is a media player built from Firefox’s browser engine. It is open source and runs on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Songbird plays the media web. Play MP3s without leaving the page. Songbird views Web pages as dynamic playlists to play, save, download or subscribe to. Songbird plays your music too with all the features you’d expect in a desktop media player. Like Firefox, Songbird’s features may be improved with user installed and contributed cross-platform extensions. I really like where Songbird is heading now!
