Pidgin 2.5.3 crash on exit

I’ve noticed this thread on the Pidgin mailing list, about Pidgin 2.5.3 crashing on exit. I’m having the same problem on two totally different computers (one XP, one Vista) with a default Pidgin install and no extra plugins. All I’m connected to is MSN and one IRC server. Since Linux Mint 6 is still using 2.5.2 I can’t say if the problem occurs in the Linux version of 2.5.3 too.

Soulseek 157 NS 13d

Soulseek is a unique ad-free, spyware free, and just plain free file sharing application. One of the things that makes Soulseek unique is the community-related features. Based on peer-to-peer technology, virtual rooms allow you to meet people with the same interests, share information, and chat freely using real-time messages in public or private. Soulseek, with its built-in people matching system, is a great way to make new friends and expand your mind! This version isn’t official yet, the author posted the link in the Soulseek forum. These where Nir’s words: “The upcoming client already saves most resize settings. This includes the main window size, most window separator positions and column sizes. This version also allows room-specific appearance settings (font and colors) from the room’s context menu. A lot of new UI code was added so problems are possible. If/once everyone is happy with this update i’ll release it.”

7-Zip 4.64

One of the tools I can’t do without: 7-Zip, the free file archiver / extractor. 7-Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio. The program supports 7z, ZIP, CAB, RAR, ARJ, LZH, CHM, GZIP, BZIP2, Z, TAR, CPIO, RPM and DEB formats. Compression ratio in the new 7z format is 30-50% better than ratio in ZIP format. It also compresses to ZIP 2-10% better than PKZip and WinZip. It has an additional powerful command line version and FAR Manager support.

Aphex Twin - Fingerbib

This track is full of emotion … love, hate, happiness and loneliness. Superb. The best Aphex Twin by far.

Aminjig Nebere (I Trusted You) (Joakim’s Afrobot Mix)

Sound quality isn’t too good on this one. This track is also on one of the Switch compilations by Stubru.

Alter Ego - Why not?! (Joakim remix)

Another crazy Joakim remix! I never really liked the original Alter Ego track, but this remix made me laugh. The crazy drums, the thunder storm … If you like Joakim, listen to these tracks: Clashing Egos - Aminjig Nebere (I Trusted You) (Joakim’s Afrobot Mix), Joakim - I wish you were gone, Joakim - Drumtrax, Max Berlin - Elle et moi (Joakim remix). There’s an interview with Joakim here.

Subotic - The seed (The Youngster’s pulp mix)

Dark progressive. I love the part where they leave out the kick for a few seconds, and then throw it back in.

Bolz Bolz - Take a walk

Crazy bass. Crazy synth. Crazy track. Take a walk!

Enigma - Age of loneliness

The sexy voice, the flutes, the ethnic chanting! It’s all there!
