The best browser just got better. Tab stacking is a new feature for people who have a lot of sites open all of the time. And Opera now has some very cool extensions too. Opera 10.60 has been released. Opera 10.60 is based on a brand new version of Opera’s rendering engine, Presto 2.6.30 and includes support for several new web technologies, such as Geolocation, Web Workers and Offline Applications. In addition Opera 10.60 is the first final browser that has support for the high quality video format WebM.
During the development of Opera 10.60 they also focused on stability, performance and alignment of all platforms. 10.60 has notably improved Javascript and DOM performance, and since 10.54 almost a thousand bugs have been fixed. Unix users can now also enjoy a final version of Opera with the speed of the new Javascript engine Carakan, and other features that have been introduced in 10.50 and 10.60.

Opera Web browser offers the best internet browsing experience available. That is, in my humble opninion of course. This version is by far the fastest browser on my computer at the moment, and 10.50 has got a completely redesigned interface that’s really nice. Continue reading
True, alpha software is not recommended on a production system. But if you like the bleeding edge (and sometimes it bleeds) then this is for you: Opera 10.5 alpha! I’ve been running it just fine on my system (Win7 64bit) for over an hour with multiple tabs open. And I really like the new look. Read all about what’s new here. Opera is one of my favourite browsers. Version 10.0 is finally out! There are tons of changes to make your internet experience easier, more secure and more fun. For some reason I feel safer when using Opera. I have this feeling that when I use Chrome, some computer over at Google is keeping record of everything I do

There’s a beta version out of the new Opera browser! Opera 9.5 adds Full Text History Search allowing you to access find pages you forgot to bookmark by simply typing just a few words into your toolbar! Opera also gives you the ability to Create Search shortcuts from any search field on the Web; and to Synchronize your Bookmarks, Speed Dial with any other Mac or PC computer, your cell phone, or the Opera-powered Nintendo Wii Internet Channel through My Opera.
