After the usual bunch of alpha’s, beta’s and release candidates, Openoffice.org 3.1 final is here. I haven’t touched Microsoft Office in years since I’ve first used OpenOffice, and the suite gets better with every turn. And did I mention free?

OpenOffice.org is a free and powerful office suite. The look and feel might be a bit less intuitive compared to Microsoft’s Office suite, but it suits my needs. And because it’s free, open source and most important: good, it deserves to at least try it out if you never did before.
